UNLJ Law Review

One of the salient characteristics of law is its conservativeness; it is static. Contrastingly, the society which the law is created to regulate and guide is spontaneous and highly dynamic. This is evident especially with the advancements in scientific developments and the consequent emerging issues from these developments. The law relating to trade, commerce and communication is one that needs extensive review so as to reflect the dynamics in the society. The Kenyan laws are largely still in the form that they were in 1963 and there have been minimal review of the laws. Some of the laws may need to be repealed as they have been rendered nugatory with time. This page is dedicated to publish articles on reviews on Kenyan laws. The reviews should containing constructive criticisms of the existing laws and recommendations on the way forward.
